Main initiatives we support and participate in

United Nations Global Compact (UNGC)

The UNGC is a voluntary initiatives for companies and organizations to act as good members of society and achieve sustainable growth by demonstrating responsible and creative leadership. Companies and organizations that sign the UNGC are required to comply with and put into practice 10 principles related to four areas: protection of human rights, elimination of unfair labor, response to the environment, and prevention of corruption.

Roundtable for Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO)

RSPO is a non-profit organization (NPO) established in 2004 by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), Western companies, and others. It aims to promote sustainable palm oil production and use and is operated by stakeholders from seven sectors related to the palm oil industry: ●Palm oil production industry●Oil extraction and trading industry●Consumer product manufacturing industry●Retail industry●Banks and investment companies●Environmental NGOs●Social and development NGOs

Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD)

The TCFD is a task force launched by the Financial Stability Board (FSB) at the request of G20 finance ministers and central bank governors. By considering how companies disclose information on risks and opportunities associated with climate change and enabling investors to make appropriate evaluations, we aim to achieve correct capital allocation, efficient financial markets, and a sustainable and stable economy.

Clean Ocean Materials Alliance (CLOMA)

In order to solve the problem of marine plastic waste, which is a new issues facing the global environment, CLOMA is promoting the proper management of waste, as well as new 3R initiatives that will make the use of plastic products more sustainable, and the development and development of alternative materials. It is a platform that promotes adoption and accelerates innovation through public-private collaboration.

Keidanren Biodiversity Declaration Initiative

The Keidanren Biodiversity Declaration Initiative is attended by companies and organizations that are working on more than one of the seven items that make up the Keidanren Biodiversity Declaration and Action Guidelines (Revised Edition), or that support the overall purpose.
