Social media policy


We, J-OIL MILLS and its Group companies (hereinafter referred to as the "Company"), have established the following attitude and behavior that should be observed regarding the operation of official social media accounts and the participation of our Group employees in social media.

1.Definition of social media

Social media refers to media using the Internet that allows information to be disseminated primarily by individuals and viewed and communicated with by an unspecified number of people.

2. Purpose of social media participation

We participate in social media for the following purposes:
(1) Build good relationships with society and users by communicating widely.
(2) To make our products known to more customers.

3.Basic policy

Our company participates in social media with the following behavioral policy.

(1) When participating in social media, we will always be aware and responsible as a member of our Group and comply with regulations and compliance.
(2) Always show respect to the person with whom you communicate and take a listening attitude.
(3) Clarify the purpose of communication and provide valuable information.
(4) Understand the characteristics of media, such as being accessible to a large number of unspecified users, being transmitted instantly, and the fact that once information is sent, it cannot be completely undone.
(5) Based on the Personal Information Protection Act, we prohibit the disclosure or provision of confidential information or other confidential information. In addition, we prohibit the disclosure or provision of customer and business partner information without the permission of the customer and business partner.
(6) Based on the Basic Intellectual Property Law, we will give due consideration to the protection of intellectual property rights (copyrights, trademark rights, patent rights, etc.) and prohibit acts that infringe on the intellectual property rights of third parties.

(2) Our company is not responsible for any damage caused by troubles between users or between users and third parties.

(4) All information disseminated on social media does not necessarily represent the company's official announcements or opinions. (For official announcements, we will disseminate information on our website and news releases.)

(6) We are unable to answer questions regarding the operational status of social media systems, technical questions, software functions, and how to use them.
(7) If we determine that your content is inappropriate, we may delete it without prior notice to you.

5.About operation

The Company will manage the Company's official social accounts. Please note that the operation of some or all of our official social accounts may be terminated or deleted without prior notice.

6. Regarding updates to social media policy

We may update our social media policy from time to time without prior notice.
