Human Resources Strategy
Overview
Based on our Group's human resources policy, we aim to increase the momentum for taking on challenges and growth and to reform our corporate culture by solving key issues: 1) expanding the capabilities of each individual, 2) focusing on strengthening the capabilities of all management levels, 3) optimal allocation of the most suitable personnel, and 4) creating an environment that encourages growth.
We also use engagement surveys to visualize the current state of the organization and work to improve engagement.
Direction of initiatives
Increase employee engagement
By working to improve employee engagement, we maximize the sense of fulfillment for each employee. We believe this will lead to improved performance and greater value for customers, and therefore conduct an annual engagement survey. We have steadily improved, reaching 41% in fiscal 2022, 45% in fiscal 2023, and 47% in fiscal 2024. While employees are particularly favorably impressed with their direct supervisors' management style and work environment, there are tendencies regarding issues with the dissemination of our management strategy. To improve this, we will strengthen communication through ongoing town hall meetings (Joy for Life Dining) and individual dialogues with management. It is important to analyze the survey results and implement improvement actions. We will increase corporate value by improving employee engagement.
