Human resource development
Overview
Our Group regards human resources as our most important capital, and believes that allowing individuals to maximize their individuality and capabilities and take on challenges and grow autonomously will lead to sustainable growth for the entire J-OIL MILLS Group. From the perspective of human resource development, we support "people who take on challenges" and "people who grow on their own," encouraging autonomous challenges and growth, and develop systems and environments that will create strong individuals in a sustainable manner.
Personnel system
In the general staffing system, the system philosophy is "individual-oriented career formation," and we respect each individual and aim to help them envision and realize their own careers, and we also have a well-developed education system to support them. In addition, in the management staffing system, we have the philosophy of "continuously evolving 'reform leaders,'" and aim to encourage employees to continue to flexibly evolve their own strengths in line with changes in the environment and advances in technology, rather than growing in the same vein as before.


Human resource development
In order to realize value creation, we are working to develop human resources, which we consider to be extremely important capital for the company. As the external environment changes dramatically, we encourage each individual to take on challenges and grow autonomously, and to support "people who take on challenges" and "people who grow on their own." In order to do so, we are providing various types and methods of educational opportunities, rather than a uniform one. In addition to various hierarchical training such as executive training and management training, we also provide peer-matching training that provides an opportunity to acquire knowledge through assistance with attending business schools and correspondence courses, and to develop mindsets and motivation. We will continue to enhance opportunities that are optimal for each individual.

Promotion of autonomous career development (CDP)
We have introduced the Career Development Program (CDP) system to promote autonomous career development and to help our employees and our company grow together. Employees look back on their past and present, clarify their future careers and the person they want to be, as well as their own values and inclinations, and then fill out a career design sheet in detail. After that, through an interview with their supervisor, each employee will be able to further clarify the person they want to be, and thus develop their own autonomous career.

Training for future executive candidates (department manager seminar)
The future leaders of our company are expected to accurately grasp the times, envision the next generation of J-OIL MILLS, and lead the organization towards that vision. To develop such leaders, this training does not focus on the acquisition of so-called technical skills or knowledge, but aims to establish an "unwavering self," by focusing on the inner self while deepening one's thoughts through dialogue with colleagues and building one's own "axis."
In fiscal year 2025, the first and second joint follow-up measures were held, with leaders representing JOYL gathering to engage in lively discussions.
