Thoughts on organizations and human resources

We aim to strengthen our human capital through engagement, which is the driving force behind our challenges and growth. We aim to create "Joy for Life®" by forming teams that maximize the potential of each individual and fuse strong individuals.

Our Group has made it our purpose to always go beyond the boundaries of fields, common sense, and limitations, connect with our colleagues, and take on challenges together in order to create value that has never been seen before. We believe that this is formed and enhanced through our human resources, who are our point of contact with society, and therefore we position human resources as an extremely important capital for the company.
We have shifted the direction of our HR management for fiscal 2023 from "people management" to "human capital" that maximizes each individual's ability to create value. We are a company with a long history. It is important to protect the methods that have been passed down from generation to generation and provide unchanging value to society. However, looking at the market today, needs are diversifying and companies must create new value. To do this, change is also important. It is necessary for all executives and employees to challenge themselves and grow, and we would like to focus on developing systems and work environments that allow "individuals who strongly embody challenge and growth" and "strong individuals to work as a team," based on the basic premise of mental and physical health, workplace safety, and ease of working for diverse human resources. 1. Expanding the capabilities of each individual, 2. Focusing on strengthening the entire management layer, 3. Optimal allocation of optimal personnel, and 4. Creating an environment that promotes growth. Through solving these important issues, we aim to increase the momentum for challenging and growing and promote the transformation of our corporate culture.

Steady progress towards resolving issues

Our company conducts an engagement survey every year. This survey visualizes the current state, but we believe there is still room for improvement. Improving engagement encourages each employee to take on challenges and grow, which in turn realizes our management strategy. To achieve this, it is important for all management levels to work together and strengthen their communication skills. By improving the quality of information dissemination and increasing team involvement, organizational capabilities will increase. All management levels will play a key role in creating a corporate culture that encourages challenges and growth, and by linking all personnel policies (training, evaluation, promotion, transfers, etc.) to that corporate culture, we aim to create a company that is full of challenges and growth for all employees.

Human Resources Policy and the Direction of initiatives Based on It

Our Group regards human resources as our most important capital, and we believe that allowing each individual to maximize their individuality and capabilities and take on challenges and grow autonomously will lead to sustainable growth for the entire J-OIL MILLS Group.
To achieve our corporate vision of "Joy for Life® -Bringing joy to the future by food," we have established a human resources policy that outlines the goals we aim to achieve through our human capital management within the overall picture of our sustainability initiatives that are linked to the company's long-term strategy and growth investments.
